4th Grade Who am I? Voicethread

The 4th grade class at Doniphan West Elementary began their year in the computer lab by creating a Who am I program. The students enjoyed taking profile pictures of each other. Then they wrote acrostic poems describing themselves. Using photoshop Mrs. Gatz created silhouttes from the photographs. The students inserted the photographs into word and typed their poems. We're currently finishing recording our Voicethread.

Spelling City - September Website of the Month

The September website of the month in the D-West Elementary Lab is http://www.spellingcity.com/mrsgatz/.  We use this website occassionally in the lab to help students practice their spelling words.  They can take tests, learn words and even play a variety of games with their spelling list.  Every week I will update the spelling lists so that students can even practice their words at home if they have internet access.

4th Grade Rainforest Animal PowerPoint

The fourth grade class at Midway Elementary School studied the rainforest in Mrs. Chartier's Science class earlier this year. In the computer lab the students created a PowerPoint presentation on a rainforest animal of their choice. I hope you enjoy their projects! They did an awesome job!
